These are three topics which are not often discussed and if at all then without
any enthusiasm. Basically, these are aspects which can take the excitement out of
daily orthodontics. But if these subjects are evaluated comprehensively they can
loose some of their horror. Therefore, this lecture attempts to cover the etiology of
failures and relapses. As well concepts for an effective intervention will be
developed.
